Forensic Team Places 8th Overall in State Forensics Tournament

4th in the Albion Wildcat Tournament.  Individual awards include: 

Jackie Rousseau - 1st in Poetry with a perfect score of 100 in every round

Matt Giannolla - 3rd in Sales
Caitlin Rifenberg, Chad Roden, Annie Marzke, and Ben Blubaugh - 2nd in Multiple Interpretation

 

The Laker Forensic Team brought home a victory Saturday, March 5th, placing first in the Alma High School Maze Tournament.  13 schools participated in this event.

Janine Golob:         3rd Place Storytelling (perfect score from all preliminary rounds)
Chad Roden:          1st Place Multiple Interpretation (perfect score in preliminary rounds)
Caitlin Rifenberg:   1st Place Multiple Interpretation (perfect score in preliminary rounds)
Annie Marzke:        1st Place Multiple Interpretation (perfect score in preliminary rounds)

Many Laker Forensics members participated in their very first forensics tournaments.  Most of the team medaled in their events, placing in 2nd-4th place in a tournament of over 300 participants from seventeen schools including many schools that ranked nationally.
